Recycled
Cotton is the most common fiber used in clothing production. Unfortunately, "conventional" cotton farming accounts for 16-25% of pesticide use worldwide. Another alternative to clothing (and socks) made from conventionally grown cotton is recycled cotton. Recycled cotton is made from recovered cotton that would otherwise be disposed of during the spinning, weaving, or cutting processes. Recycled cotton promotes a more responsible use of resources. No harmful chemicals are used in the processing of recycled cotton.
